It was a flower - you took a picture of it awhile back and this is the center of the flower. I remember thinking at the time that if aliens ever come to earth, this is what the ship would look like....
Yes, that's right... the Chinese Dogwood. But this is a different tree in a different city. I just love the geometric pattern of that little ball.
It does look like an alien life form...
