I'm in the hospital. I had a weird episode with my heart yesterday. I went mountain biking on Saturday and I felt perfectly fine... and I feel perfectly fine today as I sit being bored in the hospital. The docs are going to look at my heart tomorrow and see if they can see anything. I thought about trying to photo-blog from the hospital but so far that's not going well. I hope to be back at work soon.
I'll be thinking good thoughts for you. I'm happy you're comfortable!
ReplyDeleteNo apologies necessary, Rick. Get better soon! Preferably in time for produce blogging.
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, have some flowers (from my Scottish trip a couple of years ago.)
Take care, Rick. Will miss your incredible posts... but who cares!?!? Listen to your doctors and get better.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a speedy recovery from your friend in the swamp.
ReplyDeleteSince Will sent flowers, I'll do likewise. Take care. And, get better soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Rick,
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. Hope you're out real soon. Listen to what the doctor tells you!
Will miss you.
I'd send flowers like Will and Joanna, but I don't know how :(
I have flowers posted today - take a peak and pretend they're yours!
Consider yourself prayed for! I hope you feel better and that all goes well with your tests. Take care.
ReplyDeleteRick, DO take care of yourself! We will be here when you return.
ReplyDeleteHope things are all fine and way less boring very soon (both at once, I mean)! Looking forward to more pictures when you get back.
ReplyDeleteHope everything is well and please take care! :)
ReplyDeleteDang, Rick, is this the only way you'll take a day off?
ReplyDelete"I thought about trying to photo-blog from the hospital. . ."
Er, I guess not.
Yes, there's still art to be made but you can't make it if you're not healthy. Take the time to get to the bottom of this and get it straight - it's most likely nothing but if it is, there's all kinds of meds and procedures that are a matter of routine now that'll take care of it. Still, prayer never hurt anyone and so you're in mine.
Take care, my friend. From the comments above, if you didn't already know it, you're much loved.
(And, btw, thanks to will for bringing up produce blogging so I didn't have to. Not that I'm worried or anything. . .)
take care of yourself. get well soon!
ReplyDeleteRick: I certainly hope this passes quickly. I'll be keeping you in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteRick,
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon. Your are in our thoughts and prayers.
As a heart patient and as someone who has had more "incidents" than he's comfortable with, I wish you well! Lay off the coffee, and try not to get too excited when those nurses walk in with those tight uniforms. Look away when they lean over, or when they get really close to take your temperatu...
ReplyDelete*ahem*
Yes... um... right. Get well soon!
Oh, man, Rick! I hope you're resting up and recharging while you're out of commission. Hurry back, soon, but take care of yourself, too!
ReplyDeleteGet well Rick. Not the type of health care blogging I like to hear about.
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you need anything. I'd even cover your Thursday night at the grocery store but am sure that I wouldn't produce the same type of produce.
Best wishes Rick. Take it easy, enjoy your time off, and get well soon.
ReplyDeleteI'm praying for you, and lonely, undiscovered produce in the grocery store! :o)
ReplyDeleteYou are in my thoughts and prayers!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're back to feeling like your normal self soon! Take care!
ReplyDeleteTake it easy, not even macro shots. If you need anything just call. Hope to see you out shooting soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope the doctors are able to figure you out. :) Get well soon.

ReplyDeleteOh, gosh, I just saw this!!! See what happens when I don't check your blog for a few days??? You have my best wishes for a speedy recovery, friend Rick, and from everyone here at the Studio. When you get back you at least have to run a shot of the MRI image of your heart!!! Internal organ blogging, that could be interesting. :-) Seriously, don't take any chances, take care of that ticker.
ReplyDeleteSo out of the blue. I hate being bored in the hospital. I hope your experience there is short and they don't find anything serious.
ReplyDeleteKeeping fingers crossed. Best wishes.
Glad to hear you're felling better. Hope they release you soon.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck! I hope all is ok.
ReplyDeleteProduce blogging of hospital veggies might be..... interesting. Hope you aren't in that long! Get well soon Rick!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Rick.
ReplyDeleteGeez. Hope you just pulled a muscle or something minor. Most scares at your age turn out to be false alarms, but you're in the right place and getting checked out is the right thing to do. But then you knew that already.
ReplyDeleteGet well dude!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself. You see how many of us miss you. You are in our thoughts and I'm sending good positive vibes your way.
ReplyDeleteTake care, take care, take care...
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, Rick. You're in our thoughts and prayers!
ReplyDeleteWow... 36 comments. Thanks everybody, it means a lot. I'll post a picture of my heart later.
