Anna... it's the Fuji F30 set on macro. I was just explaining to my nephew Adam how the out-of-focus highlights take on the shape of the lens iris. Most "good" lenses have specially shaped irises that make the opening round no matter what f-stop you're on. The little Fuji has six flat blades on the iris which makes the neat hexagon shapes.
Do they smell as good as they look?
ReplyDeleteVery dainty, feminine, blooms Rick. The color is so vibrant!
ReplyDeleteThey're so small... I can't get my nose down there to check out the fragrance.
ReplyDeleteAw, I love them. Mine aren't even up yet; maybe that means they aren't going to bloom this year. Darn.
ReplyDeleteCan I ask what lens you were using? The background in the second shot it wonderful!

ReplyDeleteI have some of these in my yard that I just posted a shot of, too. They are neat little things.
ReplyDeleteThanks Rick...that really is a stunning background I think. My eye went straight to it.
