San Francisco is one of the most annoying cities ever. You can't go a block without getting panhandled at least twice. You get panhandler burnout really fast... but I gave Harry a dollar because the laugh was well worth it.
Did that guy just have a really good sense of humor trying to make the best out of a tough situation....or after working that sign for a few hours, did he stand, fold up the wheelchair prop, toss it into the back of his Escalade and take off?
Sad that we have to live in a world of such skepticism these days huh...

ReplyDeleteThe last time I was in SF, I gave money to the beggar with the sign that said "Need money for vodka and a hooker"
ReplyDeleteVancouver is similar. Last time I was there, there was a drug addict on every street corner. Many were too wasted to panhandle.
