Youghiogheny


Driving from Morgantown to Martinsburg, WV... I stopped off and shot the Yougheogheny River Valley in the highlands of Maryland.

    Stacey... it was about 9am yesterday morning. You see that view from the MD welcome center on I68. It's a pretty view, but this shot benefited greatly from judicious cropping.

    Locals pronounce it "yah-kuh-GAIN-ee." Most just call it "The Yock."
