That little camera of yours really shines on the close ups! My Fuji has a macro setting, but it just can't do a shot like that no matter how many times I try.
Guess I'm gonna have to pray I get a camera this good for my up coming birthday or christmas (although I doubt it unless they all get together on this one)
Dave... the Pentax has a macro setting and a "super macro" setting. It's marked by a flower with a little "s" beside it. For the longest time I didn't even know what that setting was. When I finally figured it out, it was quite a revelation. Now I wouldn't think of buying a camera that didn't focus as close as this one. I've been shopping and it's kinda hard to tell from the tech specs sometimes.

ReplyDeleteWe have a Fuji FinePix S602z that I've just discovered has a Super Macro feature ... so we've wasted lots of time playing with it today.
