As soon as the page loaded, I thought Rick had changed the picture 'cause it was bumps...not holes! And, reading through the comments, I find that it's some scary optical illusion. I can't see the holes anymore. I salute Tom for comin...Yes, it is a manhole cover. I salute Tom for coming up with that. I thought it would be impossible. It's a very tricky photograph. I tilted it on its side to make it more difficult. Those are not actually "bumps" you see.
